2.      Getting Started

2.1.      One-Time Setup

      1. Open Zoho CRM and navigate to the module containing the record you want (Leads, Accounts, or Contacts).
      2. Open the specific record you want to view.
      3. Click the LinkedPro button on that record page.
      4. If this is your first time, a prompt will appear asking you to install the LinkedPro Token Extractor. Click Add to Chrome.
        1. (This requires Google Chrome. If you’re using another browser, switch to Chrome first.)
      5. After the extension installs, sign in to your LinkedIn account in the same Chrome browser.
      6. Once you’re logged in, the Linked Pro Token Extractor runs automatically and retrieves your LinkedIn session token in the background.
      7. Wait a few seconds, the connection will be established and the Zoho CRM page will auto-refresh.
      8. Confirm the Linked Pro panel shows LinkedIn data inside your Zoho record.
      9. That’s it; this setup is one-time only. After the first successful connection, Linked Pro will stay connected, and you won’t need to log in again each time.
      10. From now on you can view and use LinkedIn information directly in Zoho CRM whenever you open a record.
Quick troubleshooting/tips
  1. If the page doesn’t refresh, manually reload (F5) after installation and login.
  2. Make sure Chrome extensions aren’t blocked by your browser or company policy.
  3. If LinkedPro isn’t showing data later, verify you’re still logged into LinkedIn in Chrome and the extension is enabled.
  4. If your company uses strict extension policies, ask IT to allow the LinkedPro Token Extractor extension.
You’ll be able to view and use LinkedIn information right inside Zoho CRM whenever you need it. The page will auto-refresh.

3.      Using LinkedPro

3.1.      Search Criteria – LinkedIn Profiles

LinkedPro automatically fetches profiles using CRM fields:
A profile can be searched using:
    1. First Name
    2. Last Name
    3. Company
    4. Country
Searches go up to 4th-degree connections.
LinkedIn users are not notified of visits.
Profiles appear instantly inside Zoho CRM.

Get related employee records from a company on LinkedIn by searching for the "Account Name." This retrieves profiles with the company name, allowing for multi-selection and bulk data import into Zoho CRM as leads, accounts, or contacts. Once a profile is located via LinkedPro, it shows sections such as Summary, Skills, Education, Experience, and Contact Info.

4.      Data Importing & Mapping

4.1.      Bulk Import to CRM

LinkedPro allows importing multiple profiles at once:
  1. Choose module:
    1. Leads
    2. Contacts
    3. Accounts
  2. Map LinkedIn fields to Zoho CRM fields
Only fields with matching data types can be mapped)

LinkedPro facilitates the direct import of multiple LinkedIn profiles into Zoho CRM by employing a mapping form for field alignment. The process allows users to view LinkedIn data on the right side and map it to corresponding Zoho CRM fields, which can include Leads, Contacts, or Accounts, on the left. It is crucial to note that only fields of the same data type can be mapped together to maintain data accuracy. Additionally, the mapping form displays all available standard layout fields from the chosen CRM module, and a mapping guide is provided to assist users in ensuring successful data export.

4.2.      Save Configurations

You can save your mapping templates to reuse them later.

Example:
  1. “Default Leads Mapping”
  2. “Enterprise Accounts Mapping”
This saves time and ensures consistent imports.

Once field mappings are configured, they can be saved for future use to avoid repetition. Users can save the configuration by clicking "Save Configuration" and assigning a unique name. During subsequent data imports, the saved configuration will be available for selection, while the option to create a new one remains. This process facilitates faster, more consistent, and error-free imports of large volumes of prospect data.

5.      Networking Tools

5.1.      Connection Requests

You can send connection requests directly from Zoho CRM:
  1. Click Connect button
  2. Add personalized message
  3. Send without opening LinkedIn
If you're already connected:
  1. A green connection icon appears
The "Connection Request" feature facilitates searching for and sending connection requests to individuals directly from LinkedPro, thereby enhancing networking and communication efficiency within the platform. For individuals already in your LinkedIn network, the LinkedPro extension indicates this by displaying a green connection icon, which signifies that you are connected with them on LinkedIn.

The "Connection Request" feature in LinkedPro allows users to efficiently search for and send connection requests to specific individuals without navigating to the LinkedIn website, thus enhancing the convenience of networking and communication.

5.2.      Direct Messaging

For LinkedIn connections, LinkedPro shows:
  1. Message icon
  2. Previous chat history
  3. Real-time message window
You can message prospects without leaving CRM.

LinkedPro offers a Connection request feature, adjacent to this icon, a message icon is present, enabling you to send direct messages and access your previous chat history conveniently within the LinkedPro interface.

For those not within your connections, the process of connecting is initiated by clicking the Connect button, which prompts a message box where you can include a personalized note with your connection request. Once you click the send request button, your note will be automatically attached to the request.

When you click the message icon next to the profiles of your existing connections, it allows for direct messaging through LinkedPro, while also facilitating access to prior chat history with that individual, thereby improving communication efficiency.
